Ryan Hawkes
Principal at Magna Carta Group
Ryan Hawkes has been deeply involved in political advocacy, campaigning, and consulting since he was 17 years old, beginning his journey during the 2004 Bush-Kerry presidential election while still in high school. As a founding member of his high school’s debate club, he helped shape discussions on the importance of individual rights and constitutional principles, which laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to public service.
After attending the University of Massachusetts, where he studied politics and economics, Ryan became a member of the prestigious Alpha Lambda Delta collegiate honor society. He later transferred to Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida, where he deepened his understanding of political philosophy in a classical liberal arts setting. Graduating with honors, Ryan’s dedication to public service extended to his role as regional coordinator for the McCain-Palin campaign in 2008 across Southwest Florida. His international experience includes a 13-month tenure with an established NGO at the United Nations in New York City, where he worked on global issues with a focus on diplomacy and international relations.
Ryan has continuously served as a Republican state delegate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at every state convention since 2006. He has also contributed to numerous nonprofit boards of directors at both state and federal levels. With extensive experience across multiple campaigns, Ryan has served in key roles including campaign manager, consultant, finance and communications chair, field director, and more, on federal, state, and local races. His experience also includes staffing and assisting every Republican presidential campaign since 2008, including those of President Donald J. Trump.
His campaign work spans several states, including Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. As managing director of multiple nonprofit national organizations, Ryan continues to lead public advocacy efforts both in the U.S. and abroad. His commitment to free speech, particularly in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the European Union, is central to his mission of defending democratic values and open discourse.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, with proficiency in several other European languages, Ryan is dedicated to training and mentoring others who wish to join his efforts in expanding the Magna Carta Group’s work, both nationally and internationally. His leadership continues to inspire those who seek to make a positive impact on political and public policy issues worldwide.
